This web site is dedicated to the defeat of the Welsh forces and the 1200 priests from Bangor Iscoed that came to pray for their victory at the Battle of Chester in 613 A.D.. The Saxons and the Roman Church gained the upper hand in that historic clash between cultures and faiths. The Welsh and Christian Druids lost more than their patch of green earth and their lives. Their catastrophic defeat led to the eventual loss of the Celtic view of God for the generations that followed.
